The Weekly Rubric

Elsewhere

The Rubric maintains no accounts. 314 maintains several. The Rubric has seen them and has no columns for what they contain. They are linked here because she asked, and because refusing her would have required a conversation.

Pictures of the Circuit. The Editor is in them. The Editor did not authorize them, has been shown them on her machine, and has noted the lighting. Nothing in them did not happen; nothing in them is the Rubric. Captions are grading sheets. Grades are final there too.

The Editor wishes it recorded that this is not his name. It is a piece of office equipment and a young adult minister's idea of wit. It was also, 314 reports, unavailable — someone else is using it — and the number was added so that she could proceed. The Editor has asked her to find out who has the other one. A column has been opened.

Some of what appears there is marked sensitive because 314 checked a box. The Rubric has no position on the box.

What Is Not Linked Here

The Editor keeps two books. One is printed on Mrs. Odom's copier. This site is that one. Anything 314 keeps beyond the accounts above is her affair, is not the Rubric, and will not be linked from a page that has the masthead on it.
